Labor Day weekend is the official pre-season. The start to transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall. Befitting the change in season and the start to Fashion Week, luxury clothing line frontrow popped-up in Harlem. This is their second stop on their BarTour. A 5 city POP-UP shop series. The LA based brand brought in extremely dope transnational pieces.
Signature T-shirts with logo's and tag lines like "Phenomenal Woman" and "Private Society" honestly they read more like life hacks than tag lines. Very cool. They also released their ultra skinny Denim, distressed and boyfriend cut ankle jeans - They all really hug the curves.
I absolutely love the core pieces from the line. Consisting of french knit fabrics for hoodies, sweat shirts, sweat pants, dresses and crop tops (which come in reversal-able).
This collection is new and refreshing. We haven't seen these cuts or designs before. As we know frontrow has been known for its luxury...including premium leathers, furs, and silks. This collection had just two leather pieces. The element of luxury is still present in the brand however, the fabrics and price points make the line more attainable and relates to a larger group of shoppers. We chatted with frontrow designer Shateria Moragne-EL about the new collection, she explains "My leathers and furs ... "yea I'll still design those on a custom basis.
